"Opposite Ends of the Rainbow"

A Stageplay by Rebecca Buckley

About a May - December Romance:
She is in the "spring" of her life (i.e., May),
He is in his "winter" (i.e., December).

With an age difference of thirty years, Brenda and Charlie are in love, she wants to marry, he doesn't. However she will not live with him without being married, he doesn't understand why not.

Charlie's son (who is almost the same age as Brenda) is against their relationship, which is also a determining factor in Charlie's dragging his feet. It's a bittersweet story, based loosely on truth, but the author takes liberties and not all incidents are factual. Amidst the angst and the drama, humor surfaces, just as in real life.

The play has one setting, an apartment above a community theatre.
